The Best Camera Book

Here is the book by Chase Jarvis called The Best Camera is the One That's With You. All photos in the book are taken entirely with an iPhone.

Imagine that, high quality photos good enough for a book taken with the 2 megapixel camera of an iPhone 3G.

Sometimes, the simpler the camera, the better the photos you can take. Without having to worry about the menus, controls, settings of a complex DSLR camera. A simple camera just gets out of your way and let you shoot. All you have to think about is the composition and keeping your hand steady.

I've seen a lot of camera phones, some boasting as high as 5 megapixels. But in reality, the quality of the photos taken with the iPhone was way better than the other camera phones from Nokia or Sony. They just always seem to look like there's a blue haze to them that made you know they were taken from a camera phone.

So if you don't have a DSLR but you have an iPhone. Go out and take photos. Follow some of the tips on this blog and go shoot. Just shoot whatever and share your photos. Photos are useless if they're not shared.

Remember, it's not the camera, it's the photographer!

I would love to see your photos, share them by putting the link in the comments.
