In the series on parts of a camera. Here I'm going to show you the pentaprism on my Nikon F3.
This is the front view.
This the the back view.
This is the view from the underside. Here you can see a glass and the pentaprism. The pentaprism is hard to see because the purpose of the pentaprism is to show the image right side up and clearly. So right now, it looks just like you're looking through a clear glass.
Here you can see the pentaprism a little better. There is a "V" shape that you can see inside. That's the top side of the pentaprism.
This is another view of the pentaprism. You can see through the viewfinder from this angle. Please ignore the dust. I forgot to clean it before I took the photo.
