How to use the shutter focus button

I was browsing the Canon Canada website and I came upon this site where it teaches you how to use your Digital SLR camera.

What drew my attention was there is a page where there is an animation where it teaches you how to use the shutter to focus and then take the shot. This makes it easier to understand what I've been teaching earlier.
